"Double Barrel Shotgun Wedding"), Episode No. 39 of The Monkees (prod. #47??, first aired on NBC October 23, 1967), was repeated @ 7:30 p.m. EST on NBC. The sponsor of the week was Twiggy Lashes/Eye Paint and Londonderry Hair by Yardley Of London™, and the original commercials shown were Twiggy Lawson for Twiggy Lashes/Eye Paint by Yardley, Jimmy Durante for Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Kellogg's Pop Tarts, Slicker Lip Polish by Yardley, Oh! De London by Yardley, and Jean Shrimpton for Londonderry Hair by Yardley. MARCH 18, 1972 "The Devil And Peter Tork," Episode No. 52 of The Monkees (prod. #4737, aired on NBC February 5 and July 29, 1968), was repeated @ noon EST on CBS, with a new song added: "I Never Thought It Peculiar," written by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart. MARCH 20, 1967 "Monkee Mother" (prod. #47??) first aired @ 7:30 P.M. EST on NBC as the 27th episode of The Monkees. MARCH 21, 1970 "Dance, Monkee, Dance", Episode No. 14 of The Monkees (prod. #47??, first aired on NBC December 12, 1966), was repeated @ noon EST on CBS, with a new song added: "If You Have The Time," written by Bill Chadwick. Trivia Footnotes: "If You Have The Time" was originally considered for use in The Monkees' 1968 feature film HEAD. The heretofore-unreleased Bill Chadwick tune was released in July 1987 on Rhino's Missing Links (RNLP/RNC/RNCD 70150); however, the version of "If You Have The Time" used in the CBS repeat of "Dance, Monkee, Dance" was alternate to that which was used on Missing Links, as it featured no Moog synthesizer mix. |
