"I Was A 99-lb. Weakling" (a.k.a. "Physical Culture"), Episode No. 38 of The Monkees (prod. #4757, aired on NBC October 16, 1967 and April 29, 1968), was repeated @ 1:00 p.m. EST on ABC.

FEBRUARY 12, 1968

"The Monkees Race Again" (a.k.a. "Leave The Driving To Us")
(prod. #47??) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. on NBC as the 53rd episode of The Monkees.

Kellogg’s™ sponsored this episode, which featured the song “What Am I Doing Hangin’ ’Round”, written by Travis Lewis & Boomer Clarke and produced by Chip Douglas.

Trivia Footnotes: This episode saw the 18th and final appearance of the Dean Jefferies-styled/George Barris-built Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile in an original Monkees segment. It was also was the last full Monkees episode to be produced and the last filmed episode of the show to feature The Monkees running afoul of dastardly villains.

“The Royal Flush”, the premiere episode of The Monkees (prod. #4701, aired on NBC September 12, 1966 and May 8, 1967), was repeated @ noon EST on CBS, with 2 new songs added: "Apples, Peaches, Bananas and Pears," written by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart and "Good Clean Fun," written by Michael Nesmith.

FEBRUARY 13, 1967 (Peter Tork's 25th birthday!)

“The Monkees At The Circus”
(prod. #47??) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. on NBC as the 22nd episode of The Monkees.

The sponsor of the week was Kellogg’s™, and the songs of the week were “She” written & produced by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart and “Sometime In The Morning” written by Gerry Goffin & Carole King and produced by Gerry Goffin, Carole King & Jeff Barry. And if you tuned in and turned on this week, you would have seen these original commercials: Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Slicker Lip Polish by Yardley, Eyelighter by Yardley, Kellogg's Pop Tarts, Kellogg's Raisin Bran, and The Monkees for Kellogg's Rice Krispies.

Trivia Footnote: This episode marked a return to the big top for Micky Dolenz, once Corky on TV's Circus Boy (NBC/ABC, 1956-58).

FEBRUARY 13, 1971 (Peter Tork's 29th birthday!)

"The Devil And Peter Tork", Episode No. 52 of The Monkees (prod. #4737, aired on NBC February 5 and July 29, 1968), was repeated @ noon EST on CBS, with a new song added: "I Never Thought It Peculiar," written by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart.

Interesting Note: this broadcast occurred on the day after Peter Tork's 28th birthday!
