I purchased the Monkees video collection off of ebay, DVD set.
There seems to be an easter egg I hear on disc one. The medley of hits from the 97 TV special. Anyone have this or have any idea how to access the easter egg?
There are some rarites. mostly taken off of the Rhino sets. Including unaired skits on the Glen Campbell show, they are on Season II box set as extras.

I read someplace that this set includes 14 Monkees Kellogg's commercials!!! The Monkees - Season 1 DVD set had only 6: 4 from Season 1, 2 from Season 2. How amazing is that?!
I'd like to get my mitts on a copy!

Speaking of the Glen Campbell show, did the guys actually perform on that, or did they just do skits? I'd heard that they did "Salesman," or something, but on You Tube I've only been able to find some comedy things.
I know they performed "Tear Drop City," because I have actually watched that on youtube. However, it has been removed for some reason. I understand that they did also perform "Salesman" and two other songs.

The master for that is presumed to be lost. As it looks like a mixture of live and pre-recorded vocals.
Teapdrop City was indeed mimed by the group.
