Can someone out there tell me on what LP , CD , Re-Master, or whatever; the song "Good Clean Fun" appears on.
I don't see it on any of the new Deluxe Re-Masters. I think it's one of their earlier tunes (1st or 2nd LP's)
Thnx;
Rich D.

Recorded on 6-1-68, "Good Clean Fun" appeared on The Monkees 8th album "Present" released in 1969. It was also released as a single with the flip side "Mommy and Daddy" in 1969.

Check this site out for info on release dates, etc.

It was also on Rhino's first box set, which was a unique remix.

I must say that "Listen To The Band" box set contains the best mixes of several of the Monkees' songs. It is the best compilation of their songs, ever. At least of what I've heard. However, I do not have "Music Box."

Music Box is worth picking up as it too has some remixes (mostly the Missing Link tracks and songs that weren't on the first box set). Unless they pop up on the other Rhino CD reissues.

I also believe that the songs are remastered from better sources than the 90 CDs, but for the most part they sound the same.

There's a long mix of Daddy's Song which is a keeper and the best version I've heard. Unless that pops up on a Head reissue.

You also get a first time stereo mix of All Of Your Toys, I think that one is on the HQ deluxe however. It's similar to the one on the LTTB box but in stereo.
