Is this single available anywhere in the UK? I know I can order online from the US but would prefer to get it from the UK.

Sadly there is no new poster for this release, but we will have some posters for sale soon in our online store.

As for the single, it is only availabale exclusively from this site for the time being and it is doubtful it will make it to retail in the UK. Sorry...

Just a note for thanks for the great new deluxe Monkees editions. I know how much work you must put into these, and they are very appreciated. A song you've heard thousands of times sounds completely different.

I really enjoy the bonus track description you left on the Monkees web site. I appreciate knowing what to listen for, and the subtle differences between the new remix and the original. Plus, that fact that after all this time, you found a unreleased song for the 45 single, WOW!

Just thought I'd drop a line to you,andrew, and just tell you....the CD's sound INCREDIBLE!!!! They have lots more "Oomph" that the '95 versions,and they also sound superior than those,as well!! THANX AGAIN,ANDREW,FOR KEEPING THE MONKEES STILL SOUNDING FRESH AND AS NEW AS THEY DID IN 1967!!! Love,Michael Boyce

Hey Andrew and Rhino!
Got me single and CDs the other day and though the single is quite a cool item, I had the same problem with the sleeve being bent over by the cardboard packaging. The record is fine so I guess was hoping to be able to get just a new sleeve. Other than that these editions are wonderful! As the keeper of The Monkees flame I salute you all! Can't wait for the next batch!

An update: My mint, unscathed replacement promo 45 arrived in the mail yesterday (7/19) Thank you Rhino customer Service, and thank you Andrew for these splendid reissues of my two favorite Monkee titles!!

I have a question to ask about the 45 that may or may not have been addressed previously. I have skimmed through the posts and I didn't see anything about it so I apologize if it's been discussed and I missed it. But I've gotta ask, does everyone's "Daydream Believer" single sound like an old 45, not brand new? I figured I would ask here first before I whined to good old Dr. Rhino.

I still havent recieved my replacement 45. I called customer service as well as Dr. Rhino (Max) he called me last Mon 8/13 and said that 45s were on their way and as of last Mon (8/) still no replacement 45. He did call me on 8/23 to let me know that 45s were being shipped and would let me know when I should get one. I'm not holding my breath on this one. I really think they are NOT TAKING CARE of CUSTOMERS on THIS ONE !!!!! After all, it was THEIR MISTAKE packing 45s and CDS TOGETHER!!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING> I even sent in the label back in July that was emailed to me. I had to enlarge the return address on this and they told me they never recieved it. COME ON RHINO !!!! DO I HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK FOR A FULL REFUND FOR BOTH ?

I received my replacement 45 on Friday. It looks great,; I haven't had the chance to play it yet, but it did arrive in perfect (looking) condition. I'm sure the replacement will arrive soon. I got mine quickly because the shipping address is 1 town away from mine

I imagine the new 08 reissues will arrive in the fall or so as each one was themed w/ the timing.

2006-the first two were released in Sep, the month the show debuted

2007-Summer of love 40 years ago and when HQ was originally released

2008-Head debuted in the fall.

I wonder if the Head two-disc set will be a CD/DVD set. That would be cool. What would be even cooler is if they would release the deleted scenes as bonus material.
