Thanks, Neffie71. I'm looking forward to any good news regarding "The Magic Ball."

Nez should do a newer version of the Newer Stuff!

Or release some outakes/live stuff.

Got my Cds today. I am currently listening to "The Prison".

Both are very nicely packaged in a slip case with nice sized books. No new liner notes, nothing new to report about "The Magic Ball".

Listening to the CD, I don't hear much of a remix. It is definitely remastered. The sound quality is awesome. Nez stayed very true to the original mix here. This is very nice to have.

Very different from the 1990 remix, more like the 1974 album.

I hope he's not done with recording. Many people don't like it, but I really like "Rays." I hope he decides to keep recording and releasing albums. I just wish he wouldn't wait so long between releases. That was about 11 years between "The Garden" and "Rays." Oh yeah, and it was 13 years between "Infinite Rider On The Big Dogma" and "Tropical Campfire's."

... listening to "The Prison" 2008 release more, it really isn't all that close to the original and I actually prefer the 1990 mix. But it is nice to have a new mix anyway. There are alternate vocals on Opening and Closing Theme.

Bryan, I also really like "Rays". I think if he ever decides to record "The Magic Ball" it will be in the same maner he recorded "Rays". It took 20 years for the follow-up - 1974 The Prison, 1994 The Garden - So maybe he's waiting until 2014 to do "The Magic Ball". My bet would be that it would be all instrumental too. Which is okay, although I like to hear him sing.

He's done a couple of instrumental electronic mixes and they were played over at VR at Ed's October Cafe. I wish he would offer those and some more stuff as downloads on VR. I've emailed them and requested it. You should too, vrforeman@videoranch.com, nez@videoranch.com.

Cool. I'll have to start emailing him. Do you happen to know any of the song titles? I guess I just need to request the downloads from Ed's October Cafe. Thanks for the tip.

Live @ The Palias is still probably available and inprint so that's why it's not part of the reissue line. Infact, it was already reissued!

As far as I know, Live At The Palais is still available on CD. Of course, I already have my copy of it. I also have the vinyl.
