There are three different titles that are listed as coming out in September. Does anybody know what the tracks are or if there is anything that hasn't been officially released on these?

* 9/18
Last Train To Clarksville and Other Hits - Rhino/Flashback

* 9/18
Forever the Monkees - Madacy Special MKTS - read on one of the sites that this might be a 3cd set

* 9/18
Monkees Works - WEA/Rhino

Thanks,

Jeff

Hey Jeff,
Can you tell us where you saw/heard this? I would like to know as well.

Hey Bob,

First off, I enjoy your posts. I frequent many sites (This site, Steve Hoffman, etc.), rarely chime in though.

Forever Monkees & Last Train To Clarksville (and other hits) can be found on Amazon. Monkees Works is listed here http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/discography/index.jsp?JS...&pid=5230&aid=961352

Hangin 'Round Alternate was awesome from the last round of reissues. I can't wait for Birds Bees. I say keep them going all the way to Justus! Andrew is awesome!

Although I have the single, it would be nice and fitting if "Last Train To Clarksville and Other Hits" contained "I Didn't Know You Had It In You Sally, You're A Real Ball Of Fire". Just to have it on Cd.

I wish Maggie McManus still did the "Monkee Business Fanzine". She always had the inside scoop on future releases (track listing, etc.). Now we don't hear about things until they are close to release.

I've checked the Flashback website ( www.flashback-records.com ),but didn't see the title you'd had asked for...perhaps it will be there soon. Michael Boyce

Hi all. I looked at CD Universe and it looks like the Flashback disc will include:

1. Last Train To Clarksville
2. Porpoise Song
3. Tear Drop City
4. Saturday's Child
5. I'll Be True To You
6. Mary, Mary
7. Your Auntie Grizelda
8. Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)
9. I Can't Get Her Off My Mind
10. Sometime In The Morning

Thanks for the track listing Jeff.

I was really hoping it contained some unreleased track like the other two did. That's why I thought it was fitting to possibly include "I Didn't Know You Had It In You Sally...". Oh well. Got the single.

I've got one question: will this include the Lp Edit,or the single version of "Porpoise Song"? Michael Boyce

Yeah, I wish Maggie McManus still did the fanzine. I always looked forward to receiving those. I read them countless times. Someone else needs to take up the torch and continue with a new fanzine.

I nominate Andrew Sandoval! If he had time. Or...I would do it, but I have absolutely no inside contacts. Anyone else want to volunteer?

I remember that it was originally supposed to include "If I Learned To Play The Violin." So, if you missed the Monkees CD-ROM, you probably missed it. Or, it may turn up on the next "Changes" reissue.

I believe it's on the HQ deluxe, but remixed.

It would have been nice to been on the Last Train budget disc set too, as I bought the Legends Tin box too as well.

That was another thing I didn't like. Having to shell out money for budget releases to get more unreleased songs. Although, if it cost $50, I would have bought "I'm A Believer & Other Hits," because "Ceiling In My Room" is, in my opinion, the best of all the unreleased material from the Monkees recording sessions. Why this song was never released, I don't know. It's Davy's best written song.
