Will the cd sets be re-issued as regular sets? Both "The Monkees" and "More Of The Monkees" have been only issued as "Limited Editions",and I'm just curious.Michael Boyce

Grr...

I've just heard from someone who heard from a friend @ Rhino that the next 2 Deluxe Limited editions may be available only on The Internet via Rhino Handmade! Seems kinda wasteful to reissue only the first 2 albums to retail outlets and not the others... Mad

I hope that won't be the case! I'll be highly upset and extremely discouraged from buying any more Rhino Products! Which will be a major disappointment to me,since I always trusted Rhino for great packaging and sound. Let's hope they will have a change of heart and do the right thing and re-issue them to the public, and not to only a chosen few!! Michael Boyce

I just heard from a colleague that this is all rumor because of the delay. Let's all hope that is the case!

And now this is been posted on the Steve Hoffman site:
According to the R & R grapevine the B/Gs Odessa will be a 3Cd set 1 Stereo, 2 Mono, 3 Unreleased. And the Monkees deluxe editions sold only 500 copies each & Rhino may not issue anymore. Maybe the high prices might have something to due with the low sales figures on these 2 cd sets.

Will someone from Rhino (surely someone from Rhino reads this) please step up & give us some info?
Bob T

Any chance someone from Rhino could provide confirmation of the releases and a track listing? Why aren't the releases listed on the upcoming releases page at Rhino.com?

Latest word from Dr. Rhino is that "Headquarters" & "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd" are set to be released in June 2007. Word from other sources: limited release of 5000 per CD and web-site only release. I'm just glad they are being released. Hope the plan is still re-release entire catalog up to "The Monkees - Present".
