Ok. Back in 1982? I bought a Monkees cassette tape that at the end of the tape, if I rememer correctly and I'm sure the quotes are not exact, each Monkee just talking. I remember Micky saying "he wanted to leave something behind, something great", Davy? saying "After the concerts he just wanted to get away from the noice" don't remember if the others said anything or not. I think? the tape had a live version of "circle sky" also Day Dream Believer had Davy saying "what number is this chimps - 7a - ok don't get mad at me because I'm short". Lastly I even think it had a spanish version of the Theme. Any Help. Thanks, Love the Monkees and will feel complete if I can find this tape.

That sounds like the cassette of "Monkeemania" from Australia on Arista.

Thanks L. You are correct, I found the Monkees Music - FAQ and sure enough I'd remembered most of it. Now if I can just find the tape. Already checked e-bay with no luck, but least I know the name.

oh and yes thats the monkeemania lp from Australia pretty easy to find cirlce sky on cd and it sounds MUCH better than the monkeemania version full stereo remix ,you can actually hear davy playing organ...........hope this helps..........lets go mets...........
