I had a dream last night...
Would it not be kewl if they made a new T.V. show using CGI versions of the Monkees, but using the real voices of the actors. Also they should use the Monkees original sound recordings. The stories should be updated to a modern style and also have more to do with the subjects of the two songs used in that episode. The format of show should also keep the same humor, sarcastic style, and editing that the original had. With the use of modern CGI technology, the music segments can be much more enjoyable then the originals. I'll pay real money to see a CGI video of Pete's song "Lady's Baby"

This is exactly the same type of stuff Mike is doing with VR3D. Taking it to the extent of making a TV series would be awesome! Using the old recordings and all.

We need to toss this idea to Nez. Imagine having the Monkees playing together live in VR3D, like that group Ranch Dressing. That would be awesome.

A new animated series or special would be better IMHO.

That would be good, too. All you would need is approval from the members. Then, you can get voice actors to do the voices of the Monkees. That's the way the Beatles did the movie "Yellow Submarine." As Lennon said "They do John better than John does John."

If the originals did the voices, it'd be better! But nothing wrong w/ other voice actors too. It happens to tons of spin-offs animated adaptations.

Yeah, it would be better with the originals, but I don't think it would last very long. I still think they should do a virtual concert on VR3D. That would be cool.
