Got the latest Rhino newsletter and although there was no mention of any new deluxe edition CDs, there was a link for some stuff - Sandoval's book is essential if you haven't already got it ... http://www.rhino.com/store/merch/merch_monkees.lasso?p=RHInews0708

Andy Sandoval's schedule looks pretty hectic, so it looks like those DE reissues may be on the back burner for quite some time...

I would almost bet ya that they are probably done and ready to go to production - Sandoval is probably just waiting for Rhino's green flag.

Here's an idea. Why not just release any further deluxe editions as digital downloads. I know.. sound quality isn't as good as CD.. but it's better than not hearing them at all. Rhino might be willing to take a chance on these albums that didn't really sell that many physical copies.
Thoughts?

I get what your saying but the packaging of the deluxe editions is what is really appealing. I was blown away at how nice the 90's reissues were but the deluxe editions are the crème de' le' crème.
