I've tried posting stuff over at Monkeetalk.com but it wont allow new posts. Anyone else have that problem?
Here's what I tried to post: I ordered the photo book "Micky's Secret Snaps: 1967 World Tour" from Micky's eBay page http://stores.ebay.com/SIGNED-OFFICIAL-MICKY-MERCHANDISE I received it and it's signed by Micky plus I got an 8 X 10 photo of Micky, also signed. Nice deal. The pic is the one of Micky in his hat, tilted to the side. Also - there are a few new Monkees items at Video Rarities like a CD entitled 'A Bunch of Bananas' - which has some rare solo material. http://www.videorarities.net/monkees.html And lastly - I was over at VR3D chatting with the Foreman, word is that Nez has been in the studio here and there, recording bits and pieces to the 3rd part of The Prison/The Garden. The book is finished and it is no longer titled 'The Magic Ball', he has changed the name but I didn't find out what the new title is. Release is probably a ways off but at least he IS working on it. That's it for now. Peace! D-rock :-) |

Yes, the Monkee talk board has been down since April 28th. It's very frustrating.
Thanks for the information on the Ebay Dolenz stuff. That sounds great! Jeff Jeff |

That's awesome that Nez is working on the third part of the trilogy. I can't wait to hear it and read the story.

New groupee here...I remember watching The Monkees when they were on "Nick at Nite" back in the 80's I was a young teenager and was instant fan and had to get evrything that I could find (posters from a vintage shop, records, models of the Monkee's car)and then the album "Pool It" can out... I was in heaven. I even did a lipsnyc of "Cuddly Toy" (I dressed up as a doll and danced..badly).
So when The Monkees came out on DVD I HAD to get them. Now, I am the mother of a 13 year old daughter and introduced her to The Monkees and SHE is now in love...So now 40 years later...The Monkees are timeless. My daughter is in love with Mickey... almost breaks my heart to tell her that he is older then her grandfather..(sorry but it's true). on that note.. Peace |
