In observance of today's 40th Anniversary of the premiere of the original Heatter-Quigley NBC Daytime edition of The Hollywood Squares, here's a pic of Micky Dolenz, David Jones and Michael Nesmith crammed into a square in December 1968. It was The Monkees' first televised appearance as a trio in the wake of Peter Tork's departure. (Courtesy of monkees.net.)
