Hi everyone,
just joined today I have been a fan since I was 10 years old, and I still love the Monkees, also I have signed the petition to enrol them in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame on Davy Jones website! The Monkees Rock!!!!!
Looking forward to chatting to you all.

I'm what they would call (I guess) a second generation fan. I have been a fan since 1986. As a funny story, i only knew them from the tv show and a few records that belonged to family members, so when my uncle took me to see them in '87 (my first concert) I couldn't figure out why A) there were only 3 of them and B) why they were old! My uncle was like "That show was from 20 years ago, dude." I was 9 and still just as quick on the draw as I am now. lol
