I first got hooked on The Monkees in 1969, and they have been my favorite band ever since. I was all of four years old at the time.

Speaking of Monkeemobiles...
Those Corgi toy die cast Monkeemobiles were available in my area department stores until around 1974 (or so it seems). I always thought that was kinda weird, but looking back, with the show being shown on TV in my area til around 1972, it almost made sense. |
